Certified Hospitality Professional™ (CHP)

The Certified Hospitality Professional™ (CHP) program is designed for mid-level managers in the private club industry who are ready to take the next step in their careers. Whether your goal is to secure a Director-level role or prepare yourself for future executive leadership, this program provides the knowledge, tools, and confidence to advance successfully.


The curriculum blends both technical and interpersonal development to ensure participants grow as well-rounded leaders. Topics include:

• Time Management

• Work/Life Harmony

• Leadership

• Interpersonal Communication

• Human Resources & Talent Acquisition

• Budgeting & Costing

• Financial Reporting & KPIs


Together, these areas create a strong foundation for managing people, operations, and performance at a higher level of responsibility.


What sets the CHP apart is its combination of professional education and personal development. Each participant completes a Predictive Index Behavioral Assessment to better understand their natural strengths and leadership style. From there, the program emphasizes applied learning through group feedback, textbook study, live sessions, and open forums where participants exchange ideas and experiences. Monthly live sessions with industry experts, along with office hours with Brian Armstrong, CCM, provide mentorship, career guidance, and insight into the evolving demands of the private club industry.


By the end of the program, graduates leave with more than a certification. They gain the confidence to step into advanced leadership roles, the skills to manage people and operations effectively, and a professional network that will continue to support their careers long after the program concludes. The CHP is not just about advancing knowledge—it’s about transforming managers into leaders who are prepared to shape the future of the hospitality and private club industries.


The investment for this course is: $2,299 or $385/month for 6 months.
